Queensland Numbered Acts Queensland Numbered Acts(1) This section applies if a member of a regional conduct review panel has any interest that may conflict with a fair and impartial hearing of a complaint made against an accused councillor.
(2) The member must not take part, or take further part, in any consideration of the matter.
Maximum penalty--35 penalty units.
(3) As soon as practicable after the member becomes aware that this section applies to the member, the member must inform the department's chief executive.
Maximum penalty for subsection (3)--35 penalty units.
