Queensland Numbered Acts Queensland Numbered Acts(1) If the law society decides under this division to cancel a person's registration, the law society may also decide that the person is not entitled to apply for registration under this part for a stated period of not more than 5 years.
(2) A person in relation to whom a decision has been made under this section, or under a provision of a corresponding law that corresponds to this section, is not entitled to apply for registration under this part during the period stated in the decision.
(3) If the law society makes a decision under this section--
(a) the law society must give the person an information notice about the decision; and
(b) the person may appeal to the Supreme Court against the decision within 28 days after the day the information notice is given to the person.
