Queensland Numbered Acts Queensland Numbered Acts(1) The Minister may, by written notice, ask the law society to give to the Minister or commissioner a report at any time, for a period stated in the Minister's request, about the law society's functions under this part.
(2) The report must include the information the Minister considers appropriate, including, for example, information about a law practice's compliance with section 268.
(3) If the Minister makes a request under subsection (1), the law society must comply with the request and give the relevant report to the Minister or commissioner by the day stated in the notice for that purpose.
