Queensland Numbered Acts Queensland Numbered Acts(1) The main purposes are achieved by providing for the following matters mainly in this Act, rather than in each of the Resource Acts—
(a) dealings, caveats and associated agreements;
(b) land access;
(c) the new framework for overlapping coal and petroleum resource authorities for coal seam gas;
(d) the resource authority register;
(e) other miscellaneous matters.
(2) It is the intention of Parliament that this Act be the first step towards the replacement of the Resource Acts with a simplified common framework that will apply to all resource authorities.
