MARINE PARKS ACT 2004 No. 31 - SECT 117

117 Appeal against particular decisions must be by way of internal review or ADR process

(1) A person who is given a compliance notice or removal notice may appeal against the decision to give the notice (the original decision) by way of--

(a) an application for internal review under division 2; or

(b) an alternative dispute resolution process provided for under a regulation.

(2) Without limiting subsection (1)(b), a regulation may provide for the use of mediators and case appraisers approved under--

(a) the District Court of Queensland Act 1967, part 7;16 or

(b) the Uniform Civil Procedure Rules 1999, chapter 9, part 4.17
