MARINE PARKS ACT 2004 No. 31 - SECT 147

(1) A prescribed person is not civilly liable for an act done, or omission made, honestly and without negligence under this Act.

(2) If subsection (1) prevents a civil liability attaching to a person, the liability attaches instead to the State.

(3) In this section--

prescribed person means--

(a) the Minister; or

(b) the chief executive; or

(c) an officer or employee of the department; or

(d) an inspector; or

(e) a person acting under the direction or authority of an inspector.
