Queensland Numbered Acts Queensland Numbered Acts(1) If this Act requires a person to obtain an authority to enter or use a marine park for a particular purpose, a person must not wilfully enter or use the park for the purpose without the authority.
Maximum penalty--
(a) for a purpose involving the taking of natural or cultural resources--3 000 penalty units; or
(b) for another purpose--295 penalty units.
(2) Subsection (1) does not apply to an act--
(a) done by an authorised person in the performance of a function or exercise of a power under this Act; or
(b) done by someone else authorised under this Act to do the act.
