MINERAL RESOURCES AND OTHER LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 2005 No. 8 - SECT 33

33 Amendment of s 288 (Holder to notify owner of grant or renewal of mining lease)

(1) Section 288(2), '28 days'--

omit, insert--

'20 business days'.

(2) Section 288--

insert--

'(3) If the lease is for a purpose mentioned in section 234(1)(b), 5 the reference in subsection (1) to the owner of land includes the holder of an exploration permit, mineral development licence or mining lease over the land.'.
