NATIONAL INJURY INSURANCE SCHEME (QUEENSLAND) ACT 2016 - SECT 24

24 Failure to decide application

(1) If the agency fails to decide an application within the decision-making period, the failure is taken to be a decision by the agency to refuse the application.

(2) If the application is taken to be refused under this section, each person mentioned in section (1) is entitled to be given an information notice by the agency for the decision.

(3) In this section—

"decision-making period" includes an extension of the decision-making period under section (8).
