PUBLIC HEALTH (MEDICINAL CANNABIS) ACT 2016 - SECT 213
Disclosure to protect public health or safety
213 Disclosure to protect public health or safety
(1) This section applies if— (a) a person has authority under this Act to
perform an activity related to medicinal cannabis; and
(b) the chief
executive reasonably believes a diversion risk or substance risk exists
because of the person’s actions in relation to medicinal cannabis; and
(c)
the chief executive reasonably considers a Commonwealth or State entity may be
required to take action in relation to the risk.
(2) The chief executive may
give the Commonwealth or State entity the confidential information that is
reasonably necessary for the entity to assess, or act in relation to, the
diversion risk or substance risk.
