PUBLIC HEALTH (MEDICINAL CANNABIS) ACT 2016 - SECT 86
Giving a compliance notice
(1) This section applies if the chief executive or an authorised person
reasonably believes— (a) a person (the
"contravener" ) has contravened a provision of this Act or a condition of an
approval in circumstances that make it likely the contravention will continue
or be repeated; and
(b) a matter relating to the contravention is reasonably
capable of being rectified; and
(c) it is appropriate to give the contravener
an opportunity to rectify the matter.
(2) The chief executive or authorised
person may give the contravener a notice (a
"compliance notice" ) requiring the contravener to rectify the matter. Note—
Failure to comply with a compliance notice is an offence under section .
