Queensland Numbered Acts Queensland Numbered Acts(1) An official does not incur civil liability for an act done, or omission made, honestly and without negligence in relation to the giving of information under section 6.
(2) If subsection (1) prevents a civil liability attaching to an official, liability attaches instead to the State.
(3) In this section--
official means--
(a) the chief executive; or
(b) an officer or employee of the department; or
(c) a public service employee to whom the chief executive delegated powers under a Queensland register Act.
