(1) The chief executive of a public service entity (the
"first entity" ) may—(a) second a public service officer of the first entity within the first entity; or(b) with the approval of the chief executive of another entity, second a public service officer of the other entity to the first entity.
(2) However, if the secondment is to a lower classification level, the secondment may be made only with the public service officer’s consent.
(3) The chief executive of the first entity may cancel the secondment at any time.
