PUBLIC SECTOR ACT 2022 - SECT 163
Resignation
163 Resignation
(1) A public service officer may resign by notice given to
the officer’s chief executive— (a) at least 2 weeks before the notice is
to take effect; or
(b) within a shorter period approved by the officer’s
chief executive.
(2) The notice takes effect in accordance with its terms and
without needing the acceptance of the public service officer’s chief
executive.
