PUBLIC SECTOR ACT 2022 - SECT 273
Continuity of employment
273 Continuity of employment
(1) This section applies if a person is
appointed or reappointed under section 272 .
(2) The continuity of the
person’s service with the State is taken not to have been broken by
resignation from the person’s former office.
(3) However, the period during
which the person’s service with the State was interrupted by the resignation
can not be taken into account for working out the person’s total period of
service with the State.
