633A Safeguards for oral directions or requirements—protective services officers(1) This section applies if a protective services officer gives someone an oral direction or makes an oral requirement under chapter 19, part 1, division 2.(2) If the person fails to comply with the direction or requirement, a protective services officer must, if practicable, warn the person it is an offence to fail to comply with the direction or requirement, unless the person has a reasonable excuse.(3) The protective services officer must give the person a further reasonable opportunity to comply with the direction or requirement.
