POLICE SERVICE ADMINISTRATION AND OTHER LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 2022 - SECT 9

9 Amendment of s 622 (Receipt for seized property)

(1) Section 622 , before subsection (1) —
insert—

(1A) This section applies if—

(a) a police officer seizes anything under this Act or a warrant; or

(b) a protective services officer seizes a proscribed thing under section 556.

(2) Section 622 (1) , from ‘If’ to ‘must’—
omit, insert—
The police officer or protective services officer must

(3) Section 622 (2) , ‘if the police officer’—

(4) Section 622 (2) , ‘ subsection (1) ’—
