30 Amendment of s 3 (Definitions)

(1) Section 3, definitions
"administrator" ,
"protective security service" and
"security officer" —
omit.

(2) Section 3—
insert—

"police service" means the Queensland Police Service maintained under the Police Service Administration Act 1990 .

"protective security officer" means a person who holds an appointment as a protective security officer under section 7.

"security officer" means a person who holds an appointment as—

(a) a protective security officer; or

(b) a senior protective security officer (in training); or

(c) a senior protective security officer.

"senior protective security officer" means a person who holds an appointment as a senior protective security officer under section 8.

"senior protective security officer (in training)" means a person who holds an appointment as a senior protective security officer (in training) under section 7.
