Queensland Numbered Acts Queensland Numbered Acts(1) A warrant issued under the repealed Act, part 6 before the repeal continues to have effect for the purposes of an investigation to which section 301 applies.
(2) A power exercised by an authorised officer before the repeal—
(a) if the context permits, continues to have effect for the purposes of this Act; and
(b) if the context permits, is taken to have been exercised under a corresponding provision of this Act by an inspector appointed under this Act.
(3) However, subsection (2) does not apply to an exercise of an authorised person's power to which section 302 applies.
(4) In this section—
corresponding provision means a provision of this Act that corresponds to a provision under which the power mentioned in subsection (2) was exercised.
