WORK HEALTH AND SAFETY ACT 2011 No. 18 - SECT 344

344 Amendment of s 30 (Obligation of employer or self-employed person)

(1) Section 30, heading—

omit, insert—

(2) Section 30(1) and (2)—

omit, insert—

'(1) A person conducting a business or undertaking must ensure the person's business or undertaking is conducted in a way that is electrically safe.'.

(3) Section 30(3), 'Without' to 'includes—'—

omit, insert—

'Without limiting subsection (1), the duty includes—'.

(4) Section 30(3)—

renumber as section 30(2).
