The Parliament of South Australia enacts as
follows:
This Act may be cited as the Ageing and Adult Safeguarding
(Disapplication of Transitional Provision) Amendment
Act 2020.
In this Act, a provision under a heading referring to the amendment of a
specified Act amends the Act so specified.
Part 2—Amendment
of Ageing and Adult Safeguarding Act
1995
After section 54 insert:

(1) The transitional provision in Schedule 1 clause 1 of the
Office
for the Ageing (Adult Safeguarding) Amendment Act 2018
will cease to have effect on the commencement of this clause.
(2) From the commencement of this clause, Parts 3 to 5 (inclusive) of this
Act will, to the extent that the Part relates to the safeguarding of vulnerable
adults, apply to, or in relation to, all vulnerable adults.
