The Parliament of South Australia enacts as
follows:
This Act may be cited as the Constitution (Demise of the Crown)
Amendment Act 2016.
In this Act, a provision under a heading referring to the amendment of a
specified Act amends the Act so specified.

After section 88 insert:

89—Demise of the Crown
The demise of the Sovereign—
(a) has the effect of transferring all the functions, duties, powers,
authorities, rights, privileges and dignities belonging to the Crown to the
Sovereign's successor; but
(b) has no other effect in law for any purpose.
