The Parliament of South Australia enacts as
follows:
This Act may be cited as the Holidays (Christmas Day) Amendment
Act 2021.
In this Act, a provision under a heading referring to the amendment of a
specified Act amends the Act so specified.
Part 2—Amendment
of Holidays
Act 1910
After section 3 insert:
3AA—Christmas Day
In addition to the days mentioned in Schedule 2, 25 December will
be a public holiday and bank holiday but when that day falls on a Saturday or
Sunday, that day and the following Monday will be public holidays and bank
holidays.
4—Amendment
of section 5—Governor may substitute another day for day
appointed
Section 5(1)—after subsection (2) insert:
(3) This section does not apply in relation to 25 December.

of Schedule 2—Holidays
Schedule 2 Part 2—delete "Christmas Day."
