The Parliament of South Australia enacts as follows:
Part 1—Preliminary
Short title
1. This Act may be cited as the Summary Procedure (Classification of Offences) Amendment Act 2003.
Amendment provisions
2. In this Act, a provision under a heading referring to the amendment of a specified Act amends the Act so specified.
Part 2—Amendment of Summary Procedure Act 1921
Amendment of section 5—Classification of offences
3. (1) Section 5(2)(c)—before subparagraph (i) insert:
(ai)an offence against Division 3 of that Part (robbery); or
(2)Section 5(3)(a)(iii)—redesignate the subsubparagraphs preceded by dashes as subsubparagraphs (A) to (E)
(3)Section 5(3)(a)(iii)(D) (as redesignated)—delete subsubparagraph (D) and substitute:
(D)an offence involving $30 000 or less against Part 5 of the Criminal Law Consolidation Act 1935, other than an offence against Division 3 (robbery) or an offence of violence;
