(1) A member of the
Committee will be appointed for such term, not exceeding 3 years, as the
Minister determines and specifies in the instrument of appointment, and on the
expiration of a term of office, will be eligible for reappointment.
(2) The Minister may
remove a member of the Committee from office on the ground of—
(a)
mental or physical incapacity to carry out satisfactorily the duties of a
member; or
(b)
dishonourable conduct; or
(c)
neglect of duty.
(3) The office of a
member of the Committee becomes vacant if the member—
(a)
dies; or
(b)
completes a term of office; or
(c)
resigns by notice in writing to the Minister; or
(d) is
removed from office by the Minister under subsection (2).
(4) On the office of a
member of the Committee becoming vacant, a person must be appointed to that
office in accordance with this Act.
