(1) Subject to Part 8
of the Evidence Act 1929 or to any other Act, inquests held by the
Coroner's Court must be open to the public.
(2) However, the Court
may also exercise the powers conferred on the Court under that Part relating
to clearing courts and suppressing publication of evidence if the Court
considers it desirable to do so in the interests of national security and, for
that purpose, that Part will apply accordingly.
