CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE (SAFETY) ACT 2017 - SECT 98

98—Foster care agencies to be licensed

A person must not carry on the business of a foster care agency unless the person is the holder of a licence under this Part.

Maximum penalty:

            (a)         in the case of a natural person—Imprisonment for 2 years; or

            (b)         in the case of a body corporate—$120 000.
