30ZZJ—Person with access to alkaloid poppy register not to disclose
personal information from it
(1) Unless a
disclosure is authorised under this section, a person authorised to have
access to the alkaloid poppy register or any part of the alkaloid poppy
register must not disclose to any person the following information in the
alkaloid poppy register:
(a) any
personal information;
(b) the
location of specified premises;
(c)
commercial in confidence information.
Maximum penalty: $15 000 or imprisonment for 12 months, or both.
(2) The Chief
Executive or a person authorised to have access to the alkaloid poppy register
or any part of the alkaloid poppy register may disclose personal information
in the alkaloid poppy register to a Department or public statutory
authority—
(a) for
the purpose of law enforcement; or
(b) as
required by or under any Act or law; or
(c) if
the Chief Executive or a person authorised to have access to the alkaloid
poppy register believes on reasonable grounds that to do so is necessary to
enable the proper administration of the Act.
