10AB—Certain civil actions may be taken to be minor civil actions
If proceedings involving a monetary claim have been duly commenced in the
Civil (General Claims) Division or the Civil (Consumer and Business)
Division—
(a) the
Court may, if it thinks it appropriate to do so, on application by or with the
consent of the parties, hear and determine the proceedings as a
minor civil action; and
(b) the
proceedings will, in that event, for the purposes of this Act be taken to be a
minor civil action.
