(1) A patient or a
guardian, medical agent, relative, carer or friend of a patient or any person
who is providing support to a patient under this Act may make a request to see
a community visitor.
(2) If such a request
is made to the director of a treatment centre in which the patient is an
inpatient, the director must advise a community visitor of the request within
2 days after receipt of the request.
