(1) Except as
otherwise provided in this Act, a notice or other document required or
authorised to be given to or served on a person may—
(a) be
served on that person personally; or
(b) be
sent by post addressed to that person at the person's last known postal
address; or
(c) be
given to the person by electronic means of a kind determined by the Minister.
(2) If a notice or
other document is required or authorised to be given to or served on the
registered owner of a motor vehicle, it is sufficient for the purposes of this
Act, in a case where there is more than one registered owner of the vehicle,
if it is given to or served on only one or some of the registered owners.
