(1) Subject to this
Act, the Registrar must, on application by the registered owner or the
registered operator of a motor vehicle made in a manner and form determined by
the Minister, cancel the registration of the vehicle.
(2) Where a
registration is cancelled under this section, the Registrar must pay, or place
to the credit of, the applicant any refund required under the regulations.
