25—Assistance in carrying out Auditor-General's function
(1) The Governor must
establish an administrative unit of the Public Service to assist the
Auditor-General in carrying out the Auditor-General's functions under this
Act.
(2) The
Auditor-General will have the powers and functions of a chief executive in
relation to the administrative unit established under subsection (1).
(3) The
Auditor-General may, on such conditions as the Auditor-General thinks fit,
engage any person to provide services that are, in the Auditor-General's
opinion, necessary or desirable to assist the Auditor-General in carrying out
his or her functions under this Act.
