35—Audit of accounts of the Auditor-General
(1) The Governor may
appoint an auditor who is registered under the Corporations Act 2001 of
the Commonwealth to audit the accounts of the administrative unit established
to assist the Auditor-General under this Act.
(2) The auditor will,
in conducting an audit and preparing a report under this Division, have the
same powers, and be subject to the same requirements, as the Auditor-General
when auditing, and reporting on, the accounts of other public authorities.
(3) The auditor must
deliver to the Auditor-General and the Treasurer a report of the audit
conducted under this section.
