ROADS (OPENING AND CLOSING) ACT 1991 - SECT 8

8—Vesting of roads

Every road opened pursuant to this Act—

            (a)         is, subject to the Highways Act 1926 , vested in and under the care, control and management of the council for the area in which it is situated; and

            (b)         is, while still open, dedicated as a public road.
