56A—Manner of payment of rent
A landlord under a residential tenancy agreement must permit a tenant to pay
rent under the agreement by at least 1 means that does not involve the
payment of cash by the tenant or the collection of rent from the tenant by a
third party who charges a fee, payable by the tenant, for the collection
service.
Maximum penalty: $35 000.
Expiation fee: $2 000.
