99L—Powers of Tribunal
(1) The Tribunal may,
on the application of the Commissioner or a person whose personal information
is in a residential tenancy database, make such orders against a landlord,
landlord's agent or database operator as may be necessary or expedient in the
opinion of the Tribunal to ensure compliance with this Part or any provision
of this Part.
(2) If a database
operator commits an offence against this Part, the Tribunal may, on the
application of the Commissioner, make an order requiring the database operator
to comply with conditions specified in the order in relation to a residential
tenancy database operated by the operator.
(3) An order under
subsection (1) or (2) is effective for such period as may be specified in
the order or until further order of the Tribunal.
