7—Powers conferred by this Act are additional
(1) Subject to this
Act, the powers conferred on a court by this Act are in addition to, and do
not derogate from, the powers conferred by another Act or law to impose a
penalty on, or make an order or give a direction in relation to, a person
found guilty of an offence.
(2) Nothing in this
Act affects the powers of a court to punish a person for contempt of that
court.
