32—Court may order mortgage instead of sale in certain cases
In any proceeding in which the court has power to order a sale of any real or
personal property, the court shall have power, instead of ordering a sale, to
make such order, as is just and convenient, for a mortgage of the property,
with power of sale to the mortgagee; and, for the purpose of perfecting such
mortgage, to order the execution of all deeds and documents in the same manner
as in the case of a sale of property.
