(1) The Board under
the repealed Act continues in existence under the name South Eastern Water
Conservation and Drainage Board .
(2) The Board—
(a) is a
body corporate with full juristic capacity to exercise any powers that are by
their nature capable of being exercised by a body corporate; and
(b)
holds its property on behalf of the Crown.
(3) Where an
apparently genuine document purports to bear the common seal of the Board, it
will be presumed in any legal proceedings, in the absence of proof to the
contrary, that the common seal of the Board was duly affixed to that document.
