40—Notification by Registrar of action or suspension etc under Part
(1) The Registrar
must, as soon as practicable, give notice of the commencement of an inquiry
under this Part, and then of the outcome of the inquiry, to—
(a) the
person's employer if the person to whom the inquiry relates is a practising
teacher; and
(b) the
chief executives of the Department, the Catholic Education Office and the
Association of Independent Schools of South Australia Incorporated; and
(d) the
other teacher regulatory authorities in Australia and New Zealand; and
(e) the
central assessment unit under the Child Safety (Prohibited Persons)
Act 2016 ; and
(f) any
other person or body prescribed by the regulations for the purposes of this
paragraph.
(2) Without limiting
subsection (1), the Registrar must, as soon as practicable after
suspending the registration of a teacher, or varying the conditions of a
teacher's registration, under Part 5 or section 34A, give notice of that
fact to each of the persons and bodies referred to in subsection (1).
(3) Without limiting a
preceding subsection, the Registrar may, after suspending the registration of
a teacher under section 33A, give notice of that fact to each of the
persons and bodies referred to in subsection (1).
