93—Protection from liability for persons making notifications
(1) A person who in
good faith makes a notification under this Division is not personally liable
for any loss, damage or injury suffered by another person merely because of
the making of the notification.
(2) Without limiting
subsection (1)—
(a) the
making of the notification or the giving of any information included in the
notification does not constitute a contravention of professional etiquette or
ethics or a departure from accepted standards of professional conduct; and
(b) no
liability for defamation is incurred by the person because of the making of
the notification or the giving of the information.
