42—Starting a U-turn at an intersection
A driver making a U-turn at an intersection must start the U-turn—
(a) if
the road where the driver is turning has a dividing line or median
strip—from the marked lane nearest, or as near as practicable, to the
dividing line or median strip; or
(b) in
any other case—from the left of the centre of the road.
