In these regulations, unless the contrary intention appears—
"Act" means the Petroleum (Submerged Lands) Act 1982 ;
"controlled substance" means a substance mentioned in—
(a)
Schedule 8 of the Customs (Prohibited Exports) Regulations 1958 of the
Commonwealth; or
(b)
Schedule 4 of the Customs (Prohibited Imports) Regulations 1956 of the
Commonwealth;
"intoxicant" means a beverage or other substance for human consumption that
contains alcohol (other than a substance for medical or pharmaceutical use);
"member of the workforce", in relation to a facility, has the meaning given in
clause 3 of Schedule 7 of the Act;
"medical practitioner" means a person registered under the Health Practitioner
Regulation National Law to practise in the medical profession (other than as a
student);
"nurse" means a person registered under the Health Practitioner Regulation
National Law to practise in the nursing profession as a nurse (other than as a
student);
"pharmacist" means a person registered under the Health Practitioner
Regulation National Law to practise in the pharmacy profession (other than as
a student);
"therapeutic drug" means a drug that—
(a) may
be prescribed by a medical practitioner; or
(b) may
be sold without a prescription prepared by a medical practitioner.
