(1) A person must not
operate or use a radiation source that does not comply with the provisions of
a relevant code that are expressed as mandatory provisions applying in respect
of the radiation source.
Maximum penalty: $10 000.
Expiation fee: $500.
(2) The registered
owner of a radiation source must not cause, suffer or permit a person to
operate or use a radiation source that does not comply with the provisions of
a relevant code that are expressed as mandatory provisions applying in respect
of the radiation source.

Expiation fee: $500.
