(1) A surveyor must
certify a plan of a cadastral survey by completing a certificate, in a form
approved by the Surveyor-General.
(2) If a surveyor
certifies a plan of a cadastral survey undertaken by another surveyor, the
certifying surveyor must certify that—
(a) the
survey was undertaken under the supervision of the certifying surveyor; and
(b) the
survey complied with all requirements of the Act.
(3) A surveyor must
not certify a plan of a cadastral survey unless satisfied that—
(a) the
survey has been carried out in accordance with this Part; and
(b) the
plan complies with the requirements of this Part; and
(c) the
certificate complies with the requirements of this regulation.
Maximum penalty: $2 000.
