URBAN RENEWAL REGULATIONS 2014 - REG 3

3—Establishment of precincts

        (1)         For the purposes of section 7H(2)(b)(i)(G) of the Act, a business case must specify any statutory power referred to in section 7K of the Act that, in the opinion of the council, person or body submitting the business case, should (if the proposed precinct were to be established as a precinct under the Act) be conferred on the proposed precinct authority by the Governor under that section.

        (2)         For the purposes of section 7H(3) of the Act, the consultation period is 4 weeks (or such longer period as the Minister may determine).

        (3)         In this regulation—

"Act" means the Urban Renewal Act 1995.
