The manufacturer or importer of a hazardous chemical must ensure that the
hazardous chemical is correctly packed, in accordance with Part 2 of
Schedule 9, as soon as practicable after manufacturing or importing the
hazardous chemical.
Maximum penalty:
(a) In
the case of an individual—$6 000.
(b) In
the case of a body corporate—$30 000.
