675X—Duty to notify mine operator of notifiable incidents
A person who conducts a business or undertaking at a mine must ensure that the
mine operator is notified as soon as practicable of any incident that has been
notified to the regulator under section 38 of the Act.
Maximum penalty:
(a) in
the case of an individual—$6 000;
(b) in
the case of a body corporate—$30 000.
Note—
Section 38 of the Act requires a person who conducts a business or undertaking
to ensure that the regulator is notified about notifiable incidents.
