A person conducting a business or undertaking must ensure that an ignition
source is not introduced into a confined space (from outside or within the
space) if there is a possibility of the ignition source causing a fire or
explosion in the place.
Maximum penalty:
(a) In
the case of an individual—$6 000.
(b) In
the case of a body corporate—$30 000.
